Meet Dr. M. Gabriela Marquez

Dr. Marquez has been internationally trained in dentistry, achieving her first dental degree from the Central University of Venezuela, in Caracas in April of 1996. Both prior to, and following graduation, Dr. Marquez volunteered her time to Project Stretch, Dentistry Reaching Out To Children, in Isla Raton and Puerto Ayacucho, Amazon State, Venezuela.

After practicing dentistry, for a short time, Dr. Marquez relocated to the United States and attained her second dental degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, holding membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and finishing second in her class in May of 2003. At graduation, Dr. Marquez was awarded "High Honors" as well as The International Congress of Oral Implantologists Award. She was immediately accepted into the Orthodontic Program at Boston University and attained her Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in May of 2006. Since her graduation, she has been on staff as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Orthodontic department. Currently, Dr. Marquez frequently lectures on Mini Implants and Temporary Anchorage Devices, while Creating Generations of Beautiful Smiles with the ARCH Orthodontics team since November, 2006. Dr. Marquez maintains active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Venezuelan College of Dentists and Venezuelan Metropolitan College of Dentists.
